Young to replace injured Gerrard

International friendly: Netherlands v EnglandVenue: Amsterdam Arena Date: Wednesday, 12 August Kick-off: 1945 BST Coverage: Live on BBC Radio 5 live and ITV1; live text commentary on BBC Sport website

Aston Villa's Ashley Young will replace Steven Gerrard in England's starting XI against the Netherlands after the midfielder pulled out with an injury.
The 29-year-old Liverpool player was forced to withdraw from the squad after picking up a groin problem in training.
"It will be a good test for Ashley," said England coach Fabio Capello ahead of Wednesday's friendly in Amsterdam.
"He has only played twice for me but the last time he did very well. It will be a good test for him."
Young will win his sixth cap, but only his second under Capello.
His first under the Italian was against Germany in Berlin last season and his last was against Andorra at Wembley in June.
Gerrard joins Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster on the sidelines after he picked up a knock during his side's FA Community Shield defeat by Chelsea on Sunday.
Manchester City's Joe Hart - currently on loan at Birmingham City - has been called up as a replacement.

First-choice goalkeeper David James was left out of the England squad by Capello because of a knee injury.
West Ham's Robert Green and Blackburn's Paul Robinson are the other keepers in the squad, one of whom is now likely to start at the Amsterdam Arena.
Green, who has four caps, started England's last two matches, the World Cup qualifying wins against Kazakhstan (4-0) and Andorra (6-0) in June.
England has no decent keeper. This is an area of concern for our World Cup chances
Robinson won the last of his 41 caps in a 2-1 European Championship qualifying defeat by Russia in Moscow in October 2007.
Foster has played twice for England, the first in the 1-0 defeat against Spain in February 2007 and the second as a second-half substitute in the 4-0 win over Slovakia in March this year.
He is expected to be first-choice for Manchester United in the absence of regular number one Edwin Van der Sar, who will be sidelined for up to eight weeks after undergoing surgery on a broken finger and bone in his left hand.
Meanwhile, Capello ruled out any chance of Arsenal keeper Manuel Almunia receiving an England call-up under his stewardship.
The Spaniard is now eligible to play for England under football governing body Fifa's residency rules.
"Almunia, for me, is Spanish," said Capello.
"He is Spanish and he plays for the Arsenal team."
Following seven successive qualifying wins, England are on the cusp of qualifying for the World Cup next summer in South Africa, while the Dutch, who have also notched up seven victories, are assured of a place in the 2010 finals.
Netherlands coach Bert van Marwijk believes England have been revitalised under Capello - and he sees them as one of the favourites for next year's World Cup.
"Every time England qualify for the World Cup they are one of the favourites. They have a lot of potential and at the moment they have a very good team," he said.
"This is also to do with the coach. They are trying to play football."
The Netherlands will be without Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Mark van Bommel through injury, but Manchester City midfielder Nigel de Jong returns from suspension.
After playing the Netherlands, Capello's England face Slovenia in a friendly on 5 September, before facing Croatia in a World Cup qualifier at Wembley on 9 September.
England squad for 12 August friendly against the Netherlands:
