Liverpool player ratings as Mohamed Salah shines in Club World Cup semi-final win

LIVERPOOL 2-1 MONTERREY: Substitute Roberto Firmino scored a stoppage-time winner to put the Reds into the final of the Club World Cup.

Liverpool booked their spot in the Club World Cup final after Roberto Firmino's last-gasp goal secured a narrow win over Monterrey.
Jurgen Klopp's Reds went ahead in the 11th minute when Mohamed Salah's through ball was guided home by Naby Keita.

But Monterrey responded two minutes later, with Rogelio Funes Mori converting from close range after Alisson Becker had parried out a shot.
And, with extra-time beckoning, Salah pulled the strings once again by playing in Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose superb cross was poked him by Firmino in injury time.
