Premier League highlights: 10 talking points as Liverpool go 10 clear at the top

Mohamed Salah was on target with a brace for Liverpool at home to Watford in the weekend's opening game, while Kevin De Bruyne dominated the closing one at the Emirates.
The penultimate Premier League weekend before Christmas saw Liverpool go 10 points clear at the top of the table ahead of their trip to Qatar for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Mohamed Salah was at the double as the Reds saw off a spirited Watford 2-0 at Anfield in what was an encouraging first Hornets game for new boss Nigel Pearson.
His old side Leicester could only draw 1-1 at home to Norwich to ensure that Brendan Rodgers lost ground on his old side at top, while Kevin De Bruyne inspired Manchester City to pull within four points of the Foxes in their game at Arsenal
The Belgian's brilliant brace and an assist for Raheem Sterling set up a 3-0 win for City, who host Leicester at the Etihad Stadium next weekend.

Jürgen Klopp reported no fresh injury concerns ahead of Liverpool's Champions League trip to FC Porto, with Naby Keita set to return. Midfielder Keita missed Saturday's draw with Brentford due to a foot issue sustained during last week's Carabao Cup victory at Norwich City, but took part in training before Monday's flight to Portugal. That means only Thiago Alcantara and Harvey Elliott are ruled out of the Group B match at Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday night. "A big one, a big squad will travel.
