Ferdinand: Salah, Mane a nightmare to play against

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has heavily praised Liverpool strike force Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane as a duo that is capable of alarming any defense at any era.
Salah and Mane both scored to help Liverpool march further in the Premier League leadership after beating Sheffield United 2-0 on Thursday.
Liverpool remain on top of the league table with 58 points, 13 ahead of their closest rivals Leicester City with a game in hand. Their next game will be against Everton in the third round of the FA Cup on Sunday January 5th.
Salah has 10 Premier League goals, while Mane scored 11 times this season for both to play a huge role in the Reds’ excellent domestic season thus far.
“Salah, Mane… whatever era you’re playing in, they would be a nightmare to play against,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.
“Defenders would not want to play against them. They’re intense, the way they attack you and Mane especially.”
“His only intention is to run at you and if he passes it, he passes it with the intention of getting it back. The pace in which they do things is next level to anyone else in this league.”
