Jurgen Klopp's odd FA Cup history as Liverpool boss ponders controversial move

The Liverpool manager has divided opinion with his suggestion that no senior players will be available for the fourth round replay with Shrewsbury, and even he could miss it too
In a season in which they've seemingly broken a new record every week, Liverpool threw away the chance to set another one at Shrewsbury Town on Sunday.

When the Reds went 2-0 up through Donald Love's farcical own goal in the opening stages of the second half, it seemed for all the world as though they were going to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup for the first time under Jurgen Klopp.

For a team that have reached the final of every other competition they've played in under the German - League Cup, Europa League, Club World Cup and Champions League, winning the latter - it is a somewhat curious case, and demonstrates the rather odd relationship that Klopp has had with the competition.
That relationship got decidedly odder when the League One Shrews battled back to level the scores at 2-2 in the second half on Sunday, dragging Liverpool into a replay that they didn't want and that Klopp has suggested he won't even be at.
