Wolves 1-2 Liverpool player ratings as Alisson stands strong to secure the points



Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League to 16 points with a win over Nuno Espirito Santo's Wolves under the lights at Molineux

Roberto Firmino came to the rescue with a late strike for Liverpool, as they ran out 2-1 winners over Wolves under the lights at Molineux.

Jurgen Klopp's Reds have been brushing teams aside with ease this season, but Wolves proved themselves to be worthy competition on Thursday night.
Liverpool opened the scoring through Jordan Henderson after the club captain headed home from a Trent Alexander-Arnold corner from the right.
The Reds led going into the break, but Wolves returned from the changing room looking revitalised and took the game to Liverpool.
Adama Traore led the charge, and Liverpool simply couldn't handle his pace and power as he continually curved the Reds open.
Eventually the Spaniard found Jimenez with a cross, who headed home to level the scores.
